Denver Academy, Denver
Fire / Smoke Contamination
CHALLENGE: A fire at the charter school in Denver caused damage to two computer labs in one part of the campus. 30-40 computers, multiple smartboards, cameras, and printers, all used for audio visual editing classes were damaged by smoke.
SOLUTION: RescueTech responded and cleaned components in waves to accommodate for different classes.
Cherry Creek Systems, Colorado Springs
Fire / Smoke Contamination
CHALLENGE: A fire in the 40,000 square foot facility of the greenhouse equipment specialists in Colorado Springs caused damage to multiple computer workstations, laptops, printers and fax machines.
SOLUTION: RescueTech packed out and cleaned a handful of items within two days, and returned to the facility to perform and on-site cleaning & inspection of the remaining items. This project for Cherry Creek Systems was complete within three days of the pack-out.

CHALLENGE: Smoke from a fire at a neighboring business came into the facility through the air vents.
SOLUTION: RescueTech technicians cleaned over 100 stage lights, audio mixing boards, speakers, and audio rack systems from the theater to enable it to get back up and running again.

CHALLENGE: A water main in the back of the building of this athletic facility broke, flooding the building and causing damage to stereo equipment, computers, receivers, video game systems, and specialty athletic equipment.

CHALLENGE: Fire sprinklers in the schools mechanical room and in the school's kitchen broke after a statewide hard freeze. Various classrooms were affected, which included racks of student notebook computers.

Office Building, Denver Tech Center
Fire & Smoke Damage
CHALLENGE: After a fire in a second floor office at 5600 South Quebec Street in Greenwood Village, Colorado caused damage throughout the building, RescueTech was contracted to handle all electronic contents affected by the smoke and soot resulting from the fire.
SOLUTION: RescueTech was able to respond quickly and recover server rooms, key workstations, copy rooms, conference rooms, remote laptops, among other office electronics. Our 24 hour emergency response team worked around the clock to provide priority service to all customers in the building. Recovery plans were customized for each company depending on the proximity to the point of origin and their need for specific technologies that run the business. RescueTech’s emergency response team offered onsite inspections, quick turn-around times for priority workstations and servers, staggered cleanings, and assistance onsite. Downtime was limited for all companies involved. Many offices serviced by RescueTech were able to be back up and running only a day or two after the fire. Other offices were operating by the end of the first week, and the rest by the end of the second.The quick response and immediate recovery of technology was due to RescueTech’s ITR Program, which is implemented for disasters such as this.

Adams County District 14 Administration Building, Commerce City

CHALLENGE: After a heavy hail storm that penetrated much of the building, the hail melted, causing flooding in the basement of the Adams County District 14 Administration Building. Many computers and other office electronics in all offices in the basement, including the Family Resource Center, Program Coordination Center, Preschool Center, and Therapy Center, as well as all the computers in the Technology Services Shop were damaged by the flood water.
SOLUTION: After packing all the items out on a Friday, the two main computer servers that fed information to the entire district were cleaned over the weekend and returned on Monday. Other computers and electronics critical for business function were returned within a week.

First National Bank of the Rockies, Meeker
Smoke Contamination
CHALLENGE: Over Memorial Day Weekend in 2009, a fire in the building next door caused extensive smoke damage to the First National Bank of the Rockies in Meeker, CO.
SOLUTION: RescueTech sent a crew up to the bank over the holiday to perform an on-site cleaning. Teller stations were operating by the open of business on Tuesday. The server room and all computer stations were cleaned and up and running by the end of the day on Wednesday. By customizing the electronic cleaning process for cleaning on-site, RescueTech provided the bank with a helpful solution to their contaminated electronics and eliminated business downtime.

Colorado State University Veterinary Clinic, Ft Collins
Drywall / Gypsum Damage
CHALLENGE: After reconstruction of the main server room at the CSU Animal Hospital, drywall dust (which is made from gypsum plaster, a highly corrosive substance for electronics) and dust from the dropdown ceiling covered the servers.
SOLUTION: RescueTech cleaned all systems onsite, without shutting any of the servers off or down time for the University.
We were recovering from a fire and had to deal with many companies—restoration, clothing, insurance, and more. ThunderRidge High School, Highlands Ranch

CHALLENGE: The main computer lab in the high school was damaged by a false fire alarm that set off a sprinkler system within the room.
SOLUTION: We were able to clean, test and setup the lab to operate normally within a week.
Almost 2 years ago, an overhead water pipe burst in one of our computer labs at ThunderRidge High School. Every piece of equipment and cable in the room had been touched by the coolant filled water - 31 computers, mice, keyboards, an LCD projector, printers, a TV, VCR/DVD players, power strips and a few other other items - 178 distinct items. Losing a computer lab with scheduled classes most periods of each day was tough and RescueTech recognized how important a rapid response was to us. Thanks to them, our lab was back in operation in just over one week!!Before the end of school the day it happened, RescueTech retrieved every piece of equipment from that lab, inventoried it and took it to their shop for cleaning and, hopefully, restoration. The equipment was returned to us in immaculate condition and 177 of 178 items worked - the only item that couldn't be saved was an LCD projector. We have had zero problems with any of the equipment from that lab in the 21 months since the leak. And the lab was back in business in a third the time (minimum) it would have taken us to replace everything with new equipment.Everyone we dealt with at RescueTech was friendly, helpful and professional.
